क्या होता है Diploma Apprentice In DRDO :

Candidates having diploma in specific branch are selected as Diploma Apprentice In DRDO. They participate in different project of DRDO to help the Engineers and Scientist of DRDO.

Educational Qualification for Diploma Apprentice in DRDO :

In DRDO Technician Diploma Apprentice post are notified for candidates having Diploma in given branch of engineering-

1-Mechanical Engineering.
2-Civil Engineering.
3- Electronics Engineering.
4- Electrical Engineering and
5- Computer Science & Engineering/IT.

Note that candidates who passed out Diploma within last 2 year of vacancy notified are only eligible. Means if vacancy is notified in 2022, Candidates passed out their Diploma before 2020 are Not eligible.

Age Limit for Diploma Apprentice In DRDO :

The minimum age limit is 18 year.
And maximum age is not specified. May be because you diploma should not be older than 3 year.

Selection Process of Diploma Apprentice in DRDO :

The selection of Diploma Apprentice in DRDO is completed in 3 stage.
1- Pre Written test(Objective-Tier -1)
2- Mains Written Test(Objective-Tier -2)
3- Interview.(Tier -3)

The merit list will prepared with marks obtained in 2nd stage CBT and Interview.

1st stage CBT is only Qualifying.

After selection from this stages you have to go through Documents verification.
At time DV of you have to present you medical fitness test in specified format of DRDO

Syllabus for all stages :

Tier -1 Syllabus :

Quantitative Ability/Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, English Language(Basic Knowledge), General Science.

Total Questions – 150, Time – 2 Hours.

Tier -2 Syllabus :

Subject Related Question (Technical Questions Related to Your Trade)

Total Question : 100, Time – 1:30 Hours.

Tier -3 :

Interview.

Salary, Facilities and Promotion :

Salary of Diploma Apprentice is almost 9000/month. It seems very low because it is apprenticeship. After confirmation it will be almost 50000 INR/Month and above.

Candidates will be promoted to Diploma scientist after completing few year in DRDO. It is very respected post for a diploma candidate.

They also gets so many facilities after confirmation like-
